So, inquiring minds were wanting to know what the studio configuration looks like this time around. Here's where I started last night. Hopefully soon there should be some images of the first "finished birds. And by finished I mean ready to get varathaned- no bird is actually ready to migrate away. Yesterday I got special delivery of a new heron for the Luongo family... Always exciting to get the really big birds in the mail...

Hot August Day (it's been ages since i did anything)

For the for-seeable future I'm going to be working the OCAC front desk, giving me ample time to actually make posts. Huzzah! It's a time of speculation, since it's muggy and there's not actually work to do here on Sundays. Instead there's Andrew Bird playing in the cafe, and fantastic smells wafting from there. Of course, I could spend it speculating, or I could spend it looking up arcane knowledge on the wonders of the interweb. Last week I researched giant squids, and learned they may have prehensile penis'. What will be revealed today?

Lately I've been working so much as to totally lose track of time and what's important. i wish i could figure out a way, again, to just sit i my bed room sewing wallets and listening to the radio. that i could hold still in that particular creative way, or move with an aesthetic purpose only. maybe just by putting the wish out there it will work its way into being. we shall see.
